Scott Wilder (Pre-Born) Day 2 of 2

Wednesday, January 14, 2026

Scott Wilder from Pre-Born joins the show for Day 2 of 2 as WFIL's partnership continues, seeking to provide free ultrasound sessions for pregnant girls and women who might otherwise end their pregnancy. These ultrasounds have proven to be a powerful, effective, and gentle way of promoting life by providing the mother to see her baby and hear her baby's heartbeat.

Scott gives insight into the work of Pre-Born (both during January ("Sanctity of Human Life Month") and year 'round). He also offers stories of women who have been helped and explains the support given in the office visit and the ultrasound itself are just the beginning of a mentorship program that can last a couple of years, including receiving access to necessary resources for women.

Please pray, and if you'd like to cover an ultrasound for $28, 5 for $140, or to make a donation of any amount, simply call 1 833-850-BABY (2229) or click the Pre-Born banner at wfil.com. Thanks very much from Pre-Born and WFIL!

Scott Wilder (Pre-Born) Day 1 of 2

Tuesday, January 13, 2026

Scott Wilder from Pre-Born is our special guest today. January is "Sanctity of Human Life" month, and WFIL is teamed up with Pre-Born again this year to help provide free ultrasounds for pregnant girls and women who otherwise might choose to end their pregnancy. Scott shares about Pre-Born's work, stories of those who have been helped, and how the support extends far beyond the office visit and ultrasound itself--even up to several years later (including receiving access to resources such as diapers, formula, strollers, and much more).

We greatly appreciate your prayers for this endeavor, and to cover an ultrasound for $28, 5 for $140, or however many you like (or to simply make a donation of any amount), simply call 1 833-850-BABY (2229) or click the Pre-Born banner at wfil.com. Thank you very much from Pre-Born and WFIL!

Steve Taylor (filmmaker, musician, songwriter, producer, record label exec)

Friday, December 19, 2025

Steve Taylor (the one and only) checks in to discuss Sketch, his latest film production (in conjunction with writer Seth Worley and starring actor Tony Hale). We also touch on Steve's musical career including his classic "Meltdown (At Madame Tussaud's)", artists he has written for/produced, and the influence of his dad and mom.

Tim grew up loving Steve's brand of alternative/punk rock--full of energy & witty lyrics, packed with meaning and way ahead of their time--frequently tackling difficult subjects head-on, challenging people (often the within the church) without making himself the center of attention, if such a thing is possible. Examples include "I Want To Be A Clone," "(We Don't Need No) Color Code," "Lifeboat," "I Blew Up The Clinic Real Good," "What Is The Measure of Your Success?," and "Bannerman," among a trove of others.

Taylor also directed many music videos for his songs (and other artists) and wrote/collaborated with a number of artists including newsboys. As a record label executive, he was very involved with Chevelle, Leigh Bingham Nash & Sixpence None The Richer (including their worldwide smash "Kiss Me", Burlap to Cashmere & L.A. Symphony. Taylor has also performed in other bands including Chagall Guevara, and invested years of his life as a filmmaker including "The Second Chance" (with Rev Jeff Obafemi Carr & Michael W. Smith) and with "Blue Like Jazz," an adaption of Donald Miller's book.
