Demond Wilson--best-known for his role as Lamont Sanford in the 70's sitcom "Sanford & Son"-- graciously joined the program in January 2019, just a few months into the Tim DeMoss Show's existence. With his homegoing at age 79 this past weekend, we re-aired that conversation in its entirety today.

Wilson was funny, serious, godly, insightful--and kept TIm on his toes the entire time :). Wilson began by indirectly referencing the recently-missed double doink field goal attempt by former Eagle Cody Parkey (as the Birds hung on for a 16-15 playoff win v the Bears). Over the rest of the show, he shared about his acting career, comedy, Sanford & Son and his relationship with Redd Foxx, thoughts on the military (in which he served 1966-1968), his wife and their (at the time) 45-year marriage, being a father, and his faith in the Lord (as well as a project he was working on at the time).

Psalm 90:10 comes to mind initially: "The length of our days is seventy years--or eighty, if we have the strength." Even moreso, John 14:1-4 provides much hope: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going."

Garry "G" Cobb (former NFL linebacker with Detroit, Philadelphia & Dallas and longtime sports broadcaster) checks in to talk playoff football, the Eagles, faith and family including getting pelted with snow by his 4-year old grandson :).

Dr. Zahi Hawass (world-renowned Egyptologist and "real-life Indiana Jones") Zooms in regarding the new documentary "The Man With The Hat" which chronicles both ancient Egypt and his life and work.

Taylor also directed many music videos for his songs (and other artists) and wrote/collaborated with a number of artists including newsboys. As a record label executive, he was very involved with Chevelle, Leigh Bingham Nash & Sixpence None The Richer (including their worldwide smash "Kiss Me", Burlap to Cashmere & L.A. Symphony. Taylor has also performed in other bands including Chagall Guevara, and invested years of his life as a filmmaker including "The Second Chance" (with Rev Jeff Obafemi Carr & Michael W. Smith) and with "Blue Like Jazz," an adaption of Donald Miller's book.

Lexi Sneller with the Pennsylvania Family Institute gives insight into a key vote tomorrow on House Bill 1957--an abortion constitutional amendment which would create a right to an abortion in the state constitution that could be used to overturn many current pro-life protections and outlaw future pro-life protections from being created. Jimmy Hawkins, who played Tommy Bailey (the youngest son of George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart) in "It's A Wonderful Life" in 1946), shares about his new book The Heart of It's A Wonderful Life.
