About Elizabeth Westfield, Greg Johnson, Maayan voss De Bettncourt

Elizabeth Westfield earned her BS in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2007. She joined Nancy Benson (fellow RHJ host) on an international reporting trip to China after graduation, just one year before they would host the Olympics, which resulted in an hour-long radio documentary on WILL-AM. The documentary covered a variety of economic, political, and social issues, and Elizabeth’s focus was on the country’s one-child policy—also known as population planning initiative.

Since then, Elizabeth has worked full-time in both commercial radio and public broadcasting, working for Saga Communications and later Illinois Public Media, both in Champaign, Il. In her various roles, Elizabeth has served as on-air talent, host of music programs and weekend news continuity, fill-in news-director, guest host for the statewide radio program, The 21st, and voiceover talent.

Greg Johnson is an audio engineer, voice actor, and musician who has mixed audio for trailers of major films like ‘The Hunger Games’ and ‘Ant-Man,’ among many others. As a voice actor, he can be heard narrating two seasons of the documentary series ‘Ancient Engineering,’ in several video games like ‘Bonelab’ and ‘Hello Puppets: The Midnight Show,’ as well as in advertisements for worldwide brands such as Toyota, Coca-Cola, Nintendo, and Founder’s Brewing.

Greg is also a musician, writing and performing as one-half of the synth-pop duo ‘Plastik Boxes’ and with his solo work as ‘Greg Online.’ His music can be heard in TV shows such as MTV’s ‘Catfish’, ‘ABC 20/20’, and Bravo Channel’s ‘Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce,’ among others.

Maayan Voss de Bettancourt is a voice actor and opera singer. You can hear her voice in video games like 3 Minutes to Midnight and HeistGeist, as well as on TV and in online advertisements for major brands like the World Wildlife Fund and Schick.

When she’s not behind the mic, Maayan enjoys playing ukulele and writing songs, cosplaying, singing in subway stations with The Opera Collective, writing and performing with her sketch comedy team, and keeping up with the latest from NASA and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute.
