Abington Choral Club is thrilled to present Sounds of the Season which will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 7:30 pm at Abington Senior High School, 900 Highland Avenue, Abington, PA. We are delighted to be accompanied by musicians from Independence Sinfonia! The concert which will feature Vivaldi’s Gloria and will include multiple solos from ACC singers. Other concert highlights include: Haleluya. Haleli Nafshi, written by 17th century Italian composer and violinist, Salamone Rossi; a lovely Yiddish lullaby, Raisins and Almonds, arranged by our own Peter Hilliard; a joyful arrangement of the traditional Sussex Carol, by Elaine Hagenberg; Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day, featuring a 4-hand piano accompaniment; A Wondrous Hanukkah Light, by local cantor and composer, Charles Davidson; and a fun sing-a-long of holiday favorites! Bring family and friends! Doors open at 6:30 PM.
