All parents have heard these hysterical, nonsensical responses from children. Its amazing how much mothers and fathers will be able to relate to what is said. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear these mind-boggling, all-too-real retorts that will have you laughing.
Children are, without a doubt, the most honest group of people youll ever encounter. If you want someones straightforward, blunt thoughts and opinions, ask a child. However, just be prepared for what may follow your question because you may not like what is said. They will, after all, say exactly what they are thinking and feeling, regardless of whose feelings it might hurt.
Now, while children are incredibly honest, they are not great debaters. After they develop the ability to speak, most will talk just to talk, and that seems to be what happens when they are told something they dont want to do and attempt to argue. Their pushback, while often very enthusiastic and impassioned, will most of the time not make much sense. Its almost as if they are not answering the question asked of them, but instead the one they want to answer.
In a clip posted on YouTube, a mother, playing both roles, depicts several contentious arguments between her and her child. These are battles that every parent has faced with their youngster at one time or another. Additionally, the responses the mother gets are likely ones all parents have received before. None of them makes sense at all, but they are still funny, nonetheless.
In the opening moments, the woman, as her child yawns, which is, of course, an indication that someone is tired. However, this child is not tired and has a perfectly good explanation for why she yawned and then rubbed her eye.
Hey, buddy, you want to lay down? the mother asks.
No, Im not tired, the youngster says.
You look tired, the mother responds.
No, I was just fixing my eye, so it didnt fall out, the child says.
This is just one of the many scenarios depicted in the short clip.
Proverbs 22:6 If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.
