Repentance means to have a change of our mind - of our way of thinking about things. It's not just, "Okay, I don't want to sin anymore, so I'm going to change my mind. I'm not going to sin any longer." It really is, it's coming under the knowledge - the truth - to agree that my sin is terribly offensive to God.

Well, it's possible. But would it be correct - I don't think so. There are certain reasons for that.

If you go back to the Noahic Covenant in Genesis 9, it says, "Whoever sheds man's blood by man's hands shall his own blood be shed."

Repentance is a change in how I think that leads to a change in how I live.
